Of the institution's uncertified building space, what percentage of floor area is maintained in accordance with an energy management or benchmarking program? (0-100):
100

A brief description of the energy management or benchmarking program:

In 2018 we began a new energy management program called ACCEL - Amherst College Climate and Energy Leadership. This group meets once a month and brings together Sustainability, Design & Construction, and Operations to apply an energy efficiency lens to all of the work that we do. This program covers 100 % of the buildings on campus. As part of this program, we analyze data from our Building Management System and our metered data, which currently covers 97 % and 25 % of our buildings, respectively. We are using this data to identify energy projects we can do on campus. We fund these projects through operational budgets, capital renewal funds, and the Green Revolving Fund (GRF). This year we used GRF dollars to do a lighting project in the first year dorms, and we had student fellows analysis the data from our meters to show that we did see a reduction from April 2018 to April 2019 ( lights installed in January 2019). The metered data goes into Sky Spark where it can be used to create dashboards, which is the ultimate goal of the student fellows. The student fellows did create graphs from this data for a first-year dorm energy competition.
