A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Office of Environmental Sustainability partnered with the campus’ career center to take students on a career exploration trip under the thematic lens of climate change. This is the first time the career center has partnered with another campus entity to do a thematic trip. 8 students traveled to Boston with the Directors of both offices to meet with alumni and others who work on climate change in some capacity. We met with people working in climate philanthropy, corporate sustainability, environmental law, clean tech, urban planning and government, impact investment, and environmental NGOs. It was a great experience we hope repeat in other locations around the country.
