Farm to School Town-Gown Project

Our Director of Sustainability, Laura Draucker, is participating in the Amherst Regional School Systems Farm -to- School action team on behalf of the college. In 2018 Laura was selected to participate in a Mass Farm-to-School Retreat with the action team, and she was able to share lessons learned from the campuses own Farm to Dining program to inform progress at the K-12 level. She continues to serve on that team and brings expertise and support to that program as it grows.
