A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
At AUCA, sustainability is prominently featured in new student orientation through a comprehensive introduction to the university’s environmental initiatives and practices. During orientation, students participate in sessions that cover AUCA's commitment to sustainability, including key programs and policies aimed at reducing environmental impact. The orientation includes workshops and interactive activities designed to familiarize students with sustainable practices they can adopt both on and off campus. Students learn about the university's sustainability goals, available resources, and how they can contribute to ongoing efforts, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and campus-wide green initiatives. This integration ensures that sustainability is embedded in students' experiences from the outset, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility and engagement throughout their time at AUCA.
