Academic Programs
Climate Change has become a topic of major concern around the globe. AUC offers academic programs and diplomas covering a wide range of fields including: sustainability, green technologies, environmental systems design, solar energy, water, energy and food technologies. The programs aim to educate leaders with a holistic understanding of the developmental challenges in today’s world, and how to provide solutions for major problems such as climate crisis.

Undergraduate Bachelor Degree
- Architecture - BArch learning outcomes
Students enrolled in the architecture program will be able to:
- Critical Thinking:Think critically and creatively in a variety of contexts, such as history, theory and architectural precedent, and design accordingly, both individually and collaboratively.
- Communication Skills: Utilize manual and digital technologies to create, present and evaluate designs while communicating concepts verbally, visually, quantitatively and in three dimensions.
- Socio-Cultural Understanding: Design with consideration for the urban and sociocultural settings, the creative arts, history, ethics and heritage.
- Sustainability and Technology Integration: Create designs that are influenced by building systems, technology, sustainability and materiality as generative and integrated design concepts, and express this integration using suitable technical documentation.
- Professionalism: Lead with professionalism within the management, business and financial contexts and within ethical and legal constraints.

- Physics - BS
Students enrolled in the physics program will:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the fundamental principles and concepts of classical and modern physics, including mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum mechanics and relativity.
- Be able to design and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw conclusions based on scientific evidence and critical thinking.
- Be proficient in the mathematical techniques and problem-solving skills required to solve complex physics problems.
- Be able to communicate scientific concepts and findings effectively, both orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the interdisciplinary nature of physics and its applications in other fields, such as engineering, medicine and technology.

- Develop a broad range of research skills, including the ability to design and conduct their own studies, analyze data and communicate their findings effectively.
- Develop strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to work effectively with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders in a variety of settings.
- Gain an understanding of the ethical principles and standards that guide psychological practice and be able to apply these principles in their own work.

Sociology - BA Learning outcomes
Students enrolled in the sociology program will:
- Be able to apply sociological theories and concepts to real-world issues and problems, demonstrating their understanding of the social world and its complexities.
- Develop strong research skills, including the ability to design and conduct their own research projects, analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Develop a deep understanding of the ways in which social structures, institutions and systems impact individuals and groups and be able to critically evaluate these systems in terms of their strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop strong critical thinking and analytical skills, enabling them to identify and evaluate different perspectives on social issues and debates.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, about complex sociological concepts and ideas, demonstrating their ability to engage in meaningful dialogue about important social issues.
