AU is managed in accordance with the following programs, but not certified:
1) an energy and water efficiency program;
2) IPM program See (OP-9)
3) Green Cleaning Program(See OP-13, policy can be found here: https://www.american.edu/policies/facilities/upload/green-cleaning-policy.pdf)
AU's Energy and Engineering Department has dedicated staff to energy and water efficiency programs on campus. AU uses portfolio manager for benchmarking (public data can be found at http://energybenchmarkingdc.org).
