The Director of Sustainability represents AU on the Washington Metro Council of Governments' Climate, Energy and Environment Policy Committee. The Director also is involved in the Greater Washington Board of Trade's Green as a Competitive Advantage Committee which brings together government, nonprofit, and business leaders to collaborate on issues.
