Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Although anyone can audit a course without pursuing a formal degree, the only distinct continuing education courses are offered through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI). An assessment of sustainability courses offered during the 2010-2011 school year showed 133 courses offered with 22 focusing on an aspect of sustainability, be it social or environmental. The year of inception of each certificate varies; the Global Environmental Politics certificate was created in 2009 and is reported under "year the certificate program was created" space.
