A brief description of the technology used:
LED (Light-Emitting-Diode) lights were installed in the School of International Service parking garage and in the street lamps that light pathways on campus. Vending machines on campus were upgraded in 2010 with LED lighting. In 2011, the university is conducting energy audits across campus which will identify additional LED lighting opportunities.
