A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
Human Resources and Multicultural Affairs have partnered to host a Lunch & Learn Diversity Series, which is put on once a month to provide faculty and staff an opportunity to learn more about different racial & ethnic identities represented in our student population. The professional development sessions also allow attendees to share strategies that have worked in and out of the classroom. In the future, we hope to have sessions about different identities within our student population such as sexual orientation and gender identity.
