Agnes Scott’s ultimate goal is for all students to persist in their studies and graduate in a timely manner. In evaluating student success with respect to the college’s mission, Agnes Scott has selected first-year retention and graduation rates as criteria for success for students seeking bachelor's degrees. Over the past five years, Agnes Scott has consistently exceeded performance thresholds and, on average, has met its targets.

Agnes Scott has a commitment to justice, equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. Our diverse student population includes six marginalized racial, ethnic and/or student groups represented among our most recent retention and six year completion tracking data survey from 2017 to 2022. Amongst this data, five of the groups are traditionally and census-recognized racial and ethnic groups. The groups include Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Black or African American, Native Hawaian or other Pacific Islander, and Two or more Races. The sixth category, Non-resident Alien, is not a traditional or census-recognized category, but one that Agnes Scott recognizes.
