The college utilizes multi-attribute rating systems for energy, water, and green cleaning. All buildings included in the campus boundary are tracked through Energy Star Portfolio Manager, which is done in compliance with the college’s commitment to the Atlanta Better Buildings Challenge. All potable water use within the campus boundary, with the exception of irrigation, is tracked through Energy Star Portfolio Manager. Both energy and water data is entered by a third-party consultant who provides monthly reports to both the Office of Facilities and the Center for Sustainability. The VP for Business and Finance is briefed on a quarterly basis.
Consistent with the college’s LEED policy, all campus buildings are cleaned in accordance with the college’s Green Cleaning Policy.
