Does the institution host a peer-to-peer textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project?:
Yes

A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:

The McCain Library has worked diligently to create a textbook lending library for students. Students are able to request that the library purchase course textbooks, which are then held on reserve for all students registered in that course. Purchased textbooks/ebooks are then made available for all future course offerings. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the library has worked to scan textbooks, in compliance with copyright regulations, for students to access textbook materials remotely and ease financial burdens.

Does the institution provide incentives for academic staff that explicitly encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open access textbooks?:
No

A brief description of the incentives to encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open access textbooks:

McCain Library and the Dean of the College's office have compiled a LibGuide for faculty on open access resources and regularly encourage faculty to utilize open access resources and minimize student textbook costs. However, there is no formal institutional incentive for academic staff.
