A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
All new employees are required to attend New Staff Orientation, either for staff or faculty. Both programs include a direct presentation from the Center for Sustainability that provides a comprehensive overview of sustainability at the college. There are always questions about how to be involved and supportive comments from staff. They are encouraged to join our Green Team as a way to integrate sustainable practices into their job responsibilities. All staff and faculty are also directed to the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on sustainability-specific policies adhered to by the college.
