A brief description of the graduation pledge program:
In fall of 2010, a group of senior students began drafting a Sustainability Green Graduation Pledge that states: "I pledge to continue to live sustainably and honorably, taking into account the influence I can have on the current social, economic and environmental conditions of my time. I pledge to educate others to think deeply about their own impact and encourage them to live more sustainably."
95 graduating seniors in the class of 2011 signed the pledge.
