A brief description of the methodology used to track and calculate the number of recordable incidents of work-related injury or ill health :
Health and Safety statistics are reported to the Government of Sharjah (Safety and Prevention Authority) every quarter and to the BOT audit and compliance committee for review and assessment. In addition, the same statistics are presented during each health and safety committee meeting.

We collect our health and safety statistics via four methods:

1. incidents reported to us through our online application using the Health and Safety Incident Reporting Form. Community members, visitors, and contractors can report health and safety incidents through this form.

2. direct reports issued by our trained AUS security guards using our internal reporting platform, and respective forms such as health and safety notification form.

3. monthly HSE reports that we receive from our contractors

4. health and safety team daily tours

Collected information is automatically calculated and reported monthly using our internal reporting platform using the health and safety statistics report. The calculation of data and formulas we use are regulated by the Government of Sharjah (Safety and Prevention Authority).
