AUS Sustainability collaborates with all American University of Sharjah stakeholders in creating strategies and implementing solutions that contribute to sustainable living and working. We promote sustainable practices throughout the University’s core and supporting activities that accrue positive social, economic, and environmental benefits. We monitor and report on the impact of the these activities on our ecosystem and society-at-large.

AUS Sustainability is made up of 3 team members: the Head of Sustainability and two Sustainability Project Coordinators.

AUS Sustainability
One of the main priorities in the University’s Institutional Effectiveness Strategic Direction is Sustainability Planning.

To ensure steady progress in shaping a sustainable future, the university established a Sustainability division in 2008. AUS Sustainability works and collaborates at all levels of the university.
