A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

The American University of Sharjah has created awareness around alternative modes of transportation for students and faculty to rely on more sustainable modes of transport in aims of reducing carbon footprint of the University within the motorized fleet. As part of the sustainability initiative to support electric and hybrid vehicles, Tesla and EV Universal Chargers were installed in parking areas on AUS campus for students, faculty and staff.
